Despite the doctors’ best efforts to save his life, Mohamad Fahmi Hafiz Mohamad Fakhruddin has sadly died.

10yo M’sian boy who choked on ‘eyeball candy’ passes away
According to a report by Harian Metro, the news was confirmed by Fahmi’s aunt.
“Fahmi breathed his last at about 11pm earlier (Feb 20), where he died while receiving treatment at the Penang Hospital,” she said when met by the Malay daily.

Fahmi’s body is expected to be taken back to his grandmother’s house in Permatang Binjai and will be buried in the morning today.
