If you’re a frequent shopper at 1 Utama shopping mall, brace yourself because entering its premises is about to get a tad more expensive.
This is because the mall will be revising its current parking fees starting next month for parking lots within its premises.

According to its current parking fee that will be valid until Sept 30, ONECARD holders who park at regular parking areas pay RM1 for the first 4 hours, before paying RM1 for every subsequent hour.
For non-ONECARD holders, they pay RM3 for the first 4 hours and pay RM1 for every subsequent hour.
Regular Parking Areas | First 4 hours | Every subsequent hour |
ONECARD | RM 1 | RM 1 |
Parking Ticket (Non-ONECARD) | RM 3 | RM 1 |
ONECARD Preferred Parking Areas | First 4 hours | Every subsequent hour |

As for its Dataran parking, ONECARD holders currently pay RM3 per entry while non-ONECARD holders pay RM5 during weekdays, while the rate is RM2 per entry for ONECARD holders and RM4 for non-ONECARD holders during weekends and public holidays.
However, this will all change when Oct 1 rolls around, where parking rates will increase all across the board.

According to a chart which has circulated wildly on social media, ONECARD holders will have to pay RM2 for the first 4 hours and RM2 for every subsequent hour.
For non-ONECARD holders, they will be paying RM4 for the first 4 hours and RM2 for each subsequent hour.
Dataran Car Park rates will also see a slight increase, where ONECARD holders will pay RM4 during weekdays and RM3 during weekends and public holidays, whereas non-ONECARD holders need to fork out RM6 and RM5 respectively.
