Despite widespread warnings, illegal racers continue to engage in reckless driving, showing little sign of slowing down.
Instead of repeating the same warnings, a group of youths in Selangor decided to send a chilling message, by showing what could be the “end result.”
Coffin used as symbolic warning
In a viral TikTok video, several young men were seen carrying a white coffin out of a hearse and placing it along the roadside at the 12th mile stretch in Sungai Buloh, Kuala Lumpur.

The unusual act was meant to serve as a stark reminder to illegal street racers about the dangers of reckless riding.
According to the video uploaded by TikTok user @arep743, the group deliberately positioned the coffin by the roadside as a visual warning.
The clip, which was captioned with “Let’s see who falls for it”, carried a clear and somewhat sarcastic message aimed at those who continue to engage in dangerous racing despite repeated warnings.

It is understood that the youths are believed to be members of a local mosque community. Their intention was to express frustration and raise awareness, using the coffin as a symbol of death to highlight the possible consequences of illegal racing.
Netizens praise “hardcore” approach
The video quickly gained traction online, with many netizens applauding the group’s bold and unconventional method.
Some felt the message was impactful enough to deter racers from continuing such activities.
‘Good, young people reminding other young people.‘

‘If you’re tired from ‘flying’ (racing), you can just lie down there.’

‘Why not install speakers and play music when the time comes?’
