A video shared by Mingguan Wanita on Facebook captured the heartwarming reunion, which took place after Tunku Azizah attended the World #QuranHour 2025 event at Sultan Ahmad Shah Mosque, International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM) in Gombak on March 25.
During the meeting, Tunku Azizah humorously recalled how her teacherโs strictness had influenced her.
You were so strict, you made me scrub the floor every day,โ she joked.

Helped her master cooking skills

Every day after cooking, I had to get on my knees and scrub the kitchen floor from front to back. But because of that, I learned how to cook well,โ she shared.
Her teacherโs discipline even inspired her to instill similar values in her own staff.
The teacher, identified as 79-year-old Raja Norshiah Raja Mohd Nor, taught Home Science to Tunku Azizah during her third year at Sekolah Tun Fatimah, Johor.
Their reunion served as a touching reminder of the lasting impact teachers have on their studentsโ lives.
