A woman in Chongqing, China, won a RM600,000 lottery prize but got into a dispute with the lottery outlet owner, prompting police intervention.
According to ThePaper.cn, a viral video showed two women arguing inside a lottery shop, with bystanders attempting to separate them.

The post claimed that the shop owner had snatched the winning ticket after the woman scratched off a top-prize lottery card.
The incident took place near the intersection of Nanbin Road and Guanyin Street in Shizhu County.
Local police later clarified that no theft occurred.

Denied wrongdoing
The argument stemmed from confusion over the prize claim process. Authorities confirmed that the winning ticket remained with the rightful owner, who was advised to collect her prize at the lottery center once it reopened.
A nearby lottery shop employee confirmed that a customer had won a major prize but denied any wrongdoing by the shop owner.
They suggested the owner might have taken the ticket briefly for verification, adding that both parties were actually relatives.
A local resident stated that the winner was an aunt, and the shop owner was a relative from her extended family.
Police arrived at the scene and resolved the matter peacefully.
Authorities later confirmed that the woman had won the prize on a RM19 (30 yuan) scratch card. The winning ticket remained in her possession, and she was instructed to follow the standard procedure for claiming her prize.
