Woman Uses Body To Let SG-Registered Car Cut Queue, Sparks Anger Online

Emmm.
Traffic during long weekends is already heavily congested, but there are always incidents making it worse.
A video showing a female passenger of a Singapore-registered car using her body to block another vehicle so that her car could cut the queue has gone viral on social media, sparking a flood of reactions from netizens.

The incident that took place around 1 pm yesterday (15 Sept) seems to be recorded by a dashcam somewhere near the Malaysia-Singapore Second Link after the Tuas Checkpoint.

As a response, the female passenger, wearing a red top, exited the vehicle and stood in front of another car, physically blocking its way to allow the Singaporean vehicle to merge.

However, the driver of the blocked vehicle wasn’t giving in so easily. The video captures the driver inching forward several times, visibly frustrating the woman, who persistently stood her ground.

After the Singaporean car finally made its way into the queue, the woman got back into the car.

Before leaving, she showed the driver behind some gestures, seemingly expressing her displeasure for not being let in earlier.

The video uploader added a caption, “You guys are really cute lah,” stirring further engagement among netizens.

One netizen, who claimed to have 21 years of driving experience, remarked that they never knew such a tactic existed.

Some netizens also joked around saying it’s normal to see “chop parking”, but it’s their first time seeing “chop cutting”.

Other netizens suggested that drivers could avoid such situations by simply turning on their right signal and politely asking for a way in, as most would be willing to give way.
