In an unexpected turn of events at Queensbay Mall, Bayan Lepas, Penang, last Friday, a woman was recorded lashing out and causing havoc in a retail shop.
The woman, clad in a white top and short blue pants, was believed to be reacting to accusations of theft made against her by the store’s employees.
She was seen first crouching outside the premises before she started yelling and knocking over mannequins and clothes within the store.
The incident gained attention when a 35-second video went viral, showing the woman causing a ruckus and damaging a mannequin at a clothing store in a shopping centre.

Woman suffers from mental health issues
According to MalaysiaGazette, he woman later who was identified as a person with disabilities, was apprehended by the police after she was caught damaging a mannequin and tearing down clothes in a retail store.

Superintendent Kamarul Rizal Jenal, the Southwest District Police Chief, revealed that the 26-year-old was taken into custody following a report lodged by a store assistant at around 5:50 pm on the same day.
The report detailed a scene where the woman was causing a commotion outside the store before she suddenly started hitting and kicking the mannequin and tearing down clothes with a skateboard.
“We subsequently arrested the woman and seized the skateboard used in the act,” said Kamarul Rizal.
Further investigation revealed that the woman’s family resided in Cameron Highlands, Pahang, and her aunt informed authorities that she had health issues beyond her cognitive disabilities.
Kamarul Rizal further mentioned that the woman was taken to Penang Hospital for medical attention. The medical staff confirmed that she was dealing with psychiatric issues.
