A woman says her routine grocery shopping trip was cut short after witnessing an incident that left her feeling disgusted and upset at a supermarket in Selangor.
The incident was shared by Threads user Sara Salim, who posted a video of what she saw during her visit.
“I lost my appetite instantly,” woman says
In her post, Sara described how she had gone out in the morning to buy groceries and plan meals for the weekend. She said she was already thinking about what to cook when the incident happened.
According to her, she witnessed two women lifting their young children, believed to be around three or four years old, and allowing them to urinate into a rubbish bin located near the supermarket entrance.
The sight, she said, made her feel sick and angry.
She added that the incident immediately killed her appetite and made it difficult for her to even think about food preparation.
Left the supermarket within minutes
Sara claimed she entered the supermarket but stayed for less than ten minutes.
Instead of completing her grocery list, she said she only bought a few items her child had specifically asked for before leaving.
She shared that the experience left her feeling shaken and frustrated, disrupting what was supposed to be a simple grocery run.

Many netizens responded by saying they could understand her reaction, adding that they would have felt just as uncomfortable in the same situation.
Some questioned why the parents did not bring their children to a toilet, while others said such behaviour should not happen in a shared public space.
Several commenters advised her to report the matter to mall management or customer service.

The video has since continued circulating online, with many saying it shows how quickly an everyday outing can turn unpleasant due to unhygienic behaviour in public spaces.
