Recently, a video went viral showing a small Godzilla fighting for its life after being caught. Just kidding, it was just a monitor lizard, but netizens dubbed it ‘Godzilla’ because of its intimidating standing posture.
Godzilla caught in M’sia
Shared by a TikTok user, @firdoishi, the 1-minute-long video shows a standing monitor lizard fighting back for its life to avoid being caught.
Speaking exclusively to WeirdKaya, the OP, Firdaus, shared that the wild animal came to his workplace as an uninvited guest.
“My boss informed me that an animal had entered the staff entrance area. I hurried to the location and found the animal, wanting to shoo it away from there,” he told us.
Firdaus explained that the lizard’s appearance caused chaos, where they even had to destroy a wardrobe to catch it.
When cornered, the monitor lizard stood its ground in a defensive stance. Luckily, they managed to chase it out, and it left just as it had arrived.
