Remember the massive, 22-foot-tall replica of Young-hee, the iconic doll from the “Red Light, Green Light” game?
It stood proudly at the Urban Skate Plaza outside MRT Ampang Park, drawing countless onlookers and fans of the popular show.
Sadly, this giant doll has now been removed—but not without leaving behind a wave of viral reactions online.

A TikTok user, @qaicawarahman, captured the exact moment the doll was being taken away, and the 10-second video instantly caught the attention of netizens.
The clip shows the Young-hee doll tied up and lying on a lorry, ready to be transported away.
While the sight was already quite surreal, it was the OP’s cheeky commentary that made the video a comedic hit.
Speaking exclusively to WeirdKaya, the TikTok user shared that the doll’s removal happened on Jan 13 at around 11.46pm.
She joked about how she had never taken a photo with the doll, thinking she had all the time in the world, only for it to suddenly be taken away.
Hahaha, I feel Malaysia is much safer now. But I didn’t even get to snap a picture with it. I thought I’d visit later, but it ended up getting taken away, so I just recorded the moment instead,” she told us.
Netizens couldn’t hold back their jokes
The video sparked a flurry of funny comments from netizens, with many expressing their “relief” over the doll’s removal.
“Goodbye, Young-hee. Come back in Season 3—and bring your boyfriend along!”

“Finally, I can walk freely in that area without feeling watched.”

“I avoided taking the train at Ampang Park because I was scared I’d get ‘eliminated’!”

The humorous remarks perfectly captured how some Malaysians felt about the doll’s eerie presence.
For many, it was both an attraction and a subtle source of unease, as the giant figure reminded them of the intense and high-stakes game from the hit show.
