Woman gets defensive when confronted
Recently, a video on TikTok went viral, garnering over 120.4K views in less than 24 hours. It was about a woman who was caught red-handed throwing plastic debris into the river, and a heated argument ensued between her and the OP.
In the video, the woman was defending her actions to the OP, Syahirah, after she was approached.

The woman had the audacity to talk back to Syahirah, and she even claimed that littering would not harm the river. Furthermore, she repeatedly argued that there were no signs prohibiting littering in the area.
The situation escalated when the woman threatened to slap Syahirah.
We talked to Syahirah
Speaking to WeirdKaya, Syahirah explained that she noticed a suspicious-looking woman, prompting her to decide to film the woman.
I saw her holding her plastic waste, looking around as if no one saw her, and I decided to record her in case if she threw it into the river and my instinct was right.
Syahirah confirmed to WeirdKaya that the woman did not slap her or become physically aggressive, and she decided to walk away after feeling that the conversation was not productive.
Make a change
That’s the least I can do, to spread the message and awareness that there are people still doing this but we can do nothing about it at all.
It is important that all of us stop littering for a better future. A simple act, makes great change.
