On Monday, the government unveiled the official logo for Visit Malaysia 2026, where it featured two adorable Malayan sun bears named Wira and Manja.
Amid the positive feedback though, some have casted doubt on whether it was truly drawn by human artists or made using artificial intelligence (AI).

‘It was drawn by my father’
In a now-viral tweet posted by @emes_zack, he shared a photo of Visit Malaysia 2026’s logo on X (formerly Twitter) along with the following caption:
Please tell me this isn’t AI… pleaseeeeee.”
In response, a netizen named Emy replied in the thread saying, “Hi this is not AI, this is an original drawing by ayah saya (my father).”
He also included a photo of the logo’s various design drafts being scattered all across the desk as proof that it was the labour of his father.

However, this didn’t seem to satisfy the netizen, who wrote that “putting multiple designs on your table doesn’t prove anything.”
Following the reply, Emy was more than happy to respond by sharing a screenshot of his father sharing that he had already started on designing the Malayan sun bears for the logo.

‘Don’t be an a**!’
In the comment thread, netizens hit out at @emes_zack for his condescending tone and roasted him thoroughly for it.
‘You are such an a**hole. I doubt you will apologise if you’re proven wrong. Classless.’

‘You must have felt really cool to downgrade people’s effort lol. Let’s be real, your artworks will never come close to that level pfft.’

It even prompted a rather heated response from famed content creator Ceddy Ang, who slammed @emes_zack for talking down on Emy despite him showing proof that the logo wasn’t AI-generated.
