Gatomia, a Brazil-based Facebook page dedicated to all things feline, has gone viral with a recent uploaded video.
The video shows a man cradling a cat in his arms while giving instructions to the videographer, presumably on how to bathe a newborn baby.
Support the head at all times
Throughout the 2-minute video, the man took great pains to explain every detail and amazingly, the cat seemed not to mind and remained relaxed.
He first showed how a baby should be held by placing one hand underneath the cat’s head and then used the other hand to gently ‘scoop’ water over it.
You must use your hands to gently splash water up the baby’s head and face. However, be careful not to let any get into the baby’s ears.
All wrapped up and snuggly
Next, the man demonstrated how to wrap the baby in a towel so that he/she doesn’t get a cold.
Once again, we get to witness his dedication as he folded the ‘towel’ around the cat, giving a perfect mental image of how it’s done.
Who did it better?
The video, which garnered 2.2million views and 38,000 shares, left netizens in awe over the man’s intricate demonstration and the cat’s cooperation.
One wrote: “What magic did they use on this cat?”
If you’ve had pets before, you would know how difficult it is to keep them still while giving them a bath. Thankfully, human babies are better in this aspect.
