KOTA BHARU – A video of a motorcyclist crashing into a parked Myvi at the roadside has sparked a lively discussion among netizens over what the cause may be.
The 1-minute clip, which was shared on Yu KH’s Facebook page, showed the motorcyclist driving right into the Myvi’s rear end while turning at a corner.
He then bounced off his motorcycle due to the impact and sustained injuries, though its severity remains unknown.
The incident is believed to have taken place in Kampung Sireh, Kota Bharu yesterday afternoon (Sept 29).
‘Microsleep’ to be blamed?
Netizens were quick to put forth their own educated guesses over what could have caused the crash.
Some opined that the motorcyclist had experienced ‘microsleep’, where one dozes off for a few seconds without realising it.
“Either he fell asleep unintentionally or was looking at his phone. Whatever it is, please be careful while driving.”
Others claimed that the area is notorious for accidents and probably haunted too.
