GOPENG – Just this morning (8 Sept) at 8am, police apprehended a man who believed to be mentally unstable.

According to a short clip, the man was armed with a machete. Furthermore, he was seen aggressively swinging the weapon on top of a police car.

As reported by SinarHarian, the incident occurred outside Gopeng Police Station. The police were weary of the armed suspect and could not approach him.
Later, with the help of firefighters, they were able to knock him off the car with water spray.

Once on the ground, the police were quick to detain him. It has also been reported that the accused had damaged the bonnet of the police vehicle.
