A TikTok video showing a Malay couple aiding a woman to purchase medicine and diapers for her ailing mother has gone viral and warmed the hearts of Malaysians.
It begins with the male driver noticing the woman standing by the side of the road for a long time while brushing the tears off her face.
Out of curiosity, he slowly drove up to her and politely asked if she needed help.
The woman then explained that she desperately needed money to buy medicines and diapers for her mother.
After understanding the entire situation, the man then offered the woman RM50 to buy the essential items.
Overcome with emotion, the woman broke down in tears and thanked him profusely for his kindness. She even showed him her mother’s photo and shared more about her.
Before leaving the scene, the man gave the woman another RM10 and wished her well.

The video has since garnered 2.3million views within four days on Facebook alone.
Many netizens praised the couple for their generosity and urged everyone to put aside their racial differences.
“We should help each other regardless of race and ethnicity. Respect!”
Another wrote: “I believe that each race is peaceful and harmonious in reality, but politicians have twisted it for their selfish ends.”
