If you’ve been keeping track (no pun intended) of news surrounding a terribly run-down Kancil, you’d know that it has been driven in multiple states since 2019.

Now in 2021, the legend is back!
Kepong MP Lim Lip Eng posted a video of the Kancil cruising along Taman Usahawan Kepong, which left him speechless when he saw its current state.
As you can see from the photos, the Kancil’s doors were hanging halfway, and its boot was bursting with rubbish. But hey, at least it got a new coat of paint, right?

Lim also noted that the Kancil’s owner was wearing tattered clothing and had long, unkempt hair.
“The police and JPJ authorities have long known of the car’s existence, but no action has been taken. Is there any way we can help this brother?”
A few days later, he uploaded another video showing the car on the road and urged authorities to act as it could pose a hazardous risk to other road users. He also said that he would try meeting with the owner to see if he needs any assistance.
The legendary Kancil is also making waves on TikTok after a netizen uploaded a video of it in action, which has now garnered 11.8k likes.
