Several photos and live videos showing doctors from government hospitals performing a walkout nationwide today demanding job security and permanent placements have gone viral online.
Health Ministry director-general Datuk Noor Hisham pleaded with doctors and healthcare workers yesterday not to participate in the walkout as it might their career and patients’ lives.
