KUALA LUMPUR – Being a food deliveryman is a job full of endless surprises and challenges. One often has to deal with different kinds of customers and situations, including enduring physical and verbal abuse.
If you’re wondering what is it like to be a delivery rider, have a look at some of the stories we’ve covered about these unsung heroes.
Another challenge that food delivery riders usually face is receiving and sending prank orders, which is a rather infuriating experience. A Foodpanda deliveryman who goes by the name of @pejuangbatch4_xsudah shared how he was tricked into delivering milk tea to a “customer” at a cemetery in a TikTok video.
You can watch it here:
In the video, he shows the address of the delivery order, which was located at a Chinese cemetery.
Noticing that something wasn’t quite right, he joked that his “customer” might no longer be in the world of the living and that he was most likely the victim of a prank.
His gut feeling was proven to be true when he arrived at the delivery address, only to be greeted by a headstone. How inconsiderate is that?!
As we all know, Ramadhan is currently ongoing, and all the Malay deliverymen are feeling more lethargic due to fasting. Let us all be considerate Malaysians and not play such cruel pranks on those who are struggling to earn a living during these challenging times.
