A woman in Orlando, Florida, is facing charges of aggravated assault after she used a Pringles can to injure a man’s face at 7-Eleven outlet.
While she claimed the attack was triggered by a slur uttered by the victim, it was later disputed by a witness who said that wasn’t the case at all.
US woman attacks man with Pringles can at 7-Eleven store
According to a report by local media, the assault took place at a 7-Eleven store located within a petrol station last Thursday (Mar 6).

In a statement given to police officers, the victim said his first interaction with the woman, 28-year-old Shanika Serdahl, occurred when he entered the store.
“As I was standing in line there was a young lady in front of me talking to the cashier, she seemed like she had been drinking. She stood to the side and as I was about to pay for my drink I asked the young lady if she knew the guy outside.”
Out of nowhere, Serdahl turned around and struck his face with a Pringles can, which caused his eyebrow to split and left a large gash as a result.

In an arrest affidavit written by a police officer who was sent to the scene of the attack, he wrote “the cut looked significant and appeared that it would leave a scar and permanent disfigurement”.
Claimed victim cursed at her
Serdahl, who fled after the attack, was later arrested by police not far from the petrol station, where they found a Pringles can on her.
During interrogation, she admitted she had attacked the victim but claimed it was because he allegedly called her a “c***”.

A 7-Eleven worker later provided a different account of the attack, where it corroborated the victim’s story.
“All the guy was doing was informing me of another male customer that was laying down on the side of the building.
The female called the guy a ‘b****’ and whacked him with the Pringles which literally went flying down one of the aisles,” he said.
For the brutal attack, Serdahl is now facing charges of aggravated assault.
