Do you still remember the video of a group of motorists risking it all to save a dog from getting injured from passing vehicles along Jalan Cheras? If you have no idea what we’re talking about, have a look at the article below:
While everyone’s celebrating over how the dog was returned safely, its owner, Steven Chong, revealed a shocking update to what was supposed to be a happy ending.
According to Steven, he placed his dog, Dafi, at a pet boarding centre called Petsway on April 12 as he had to go outstation for work. Days later, he received the news that his pet had gone missing due to their negligence.
To compensate for their mistake, the centre agreed to give an RM2,000 reward to the person who returns the missing dog to Steven.
In his “Missing Pet” notice, Steven posted details of the agreement he had with Petsway.
However, following Dafi’s safe return, Steven claims Petsway is now reneging on its prior agreement, forcing him to pay the RM2,000 reward out from his pocket.
Steven is currently looking for a lawyer or NGO that would be willing to take up his case against Petsway pro bono for breaking their promise.

The update has enraged netizens, with many criticising Petsway’s unwillingness to fulfill its end of the agreement.

Many also urged other netizens to give the centre a bad review for their irresponsibility.
