Cinemas are often the go-to place for friends or couples to hang out by spending time together watching a movie while munching on popcorn.
However, one cinema has recently become a dumping ground for underwear, much to the shock and amusement of netizens.
Underwear gets left behind inside cinema
In a Facebook post by 原来是这样 new 保护人民 shared yesterday (July 2), it showed a light grey underwear being left lying on the ground inside an empty cinema as cleaning staff went to tidy the place up before the next batch of moviegoers arrived.
The caption reads: “(Someone) went to the cinema to watch a movie and forgot to wear the underwear back! Whoever it belongs to, please retrieve it!”
However, the post did not mention where the cinema was located and when the unusual incident took place.
‘Must be an underwear-dropping film’
In the comment section, netizens were both flabbergasted and tickled by the sight of the underwear being left inside the cinema, prompting several humourous reactions.
“Maybe the owner’s house didn’t have enough space to dry the underwear, so he brought it to the cinema instead.”
“What kind of movie is so scary to the point where one’s underwear drops off?”
“Perhaps the cinema lights was turned back on all of a sudden and the underwear couldn’t be worn back in time.”
