UMNO’s Sungai Besar division chief Jamal Yunos has been hospitalised after lung cancer cells were found to have spread to his brain, raising concerns over his worsening health.

The 54-year-old confirmed on his Facebook that he was admitted to a private hospital in Ampang on Saturday, Mar 22.
Intense pain led to MRI scan and diagnosis
According to Jamal, the cancer spread was discovered after he experienced sudden, intense pain in his neck and head while dining at home.
An MRI scan revealed that the cancer cells from my lungs had spread to the brain, measuring about 3cm,” he shared.
Jamal has since urged the public to pray for his recovery, expressing hope to regain his health.

He had reportedly been battling recurring cancer since 2022 and has been undergoing multiple rounds of treatment since September that year.
Hopefully this test from Allah will give fortitude and a better guidance to myself.
Previous reports highlighted ongoing cancer treatments
Media reports previously indicated that Jamal’s lung cancer had led to severe fatigue and weight loss due to continuous hospital admissions and treatments.
His health has been a matter of concern for some time, with recent developments marking a critical stage in his battle against cancer.
