Recently, a funny moment at a Ramadan bazaar had netizens in stitches when two frog mascots appeared to be sharing a public display of affection.

A TikTok video posted by user @farishally00 quickly went viral, showing two frog mascots—one green and one red—standing close together in the middle of the bustling bazaar.
At first glance, it looked as if they were about to kiss, but as soon as they realised they were being filmed, they quickly struck a peace pose, making the scene even funnier.

Speaking exclusively to WeirdKaya, the OP revealed that the video was taken at the Aidilfitri Bazaar at Jam Besar, Sungai Petani, Kedah.
The OP also shared that he found the moment amusing, sweet, and even heartwarming.
Although it looked like the mascots were kissing, they were more likely just trying to communicate but had to stand close because of their oversized costumes.
Netizens were amused
The video has since caught the attention of many netizens, racking up over 100,000 views and hundreds of comments.
“Looks like they were just trying to talk but couldn’t hear each other.”

“Poor frogs got falsely accused. They were just having a conversation! Of course, they had to stand close to hear properly.”

“Lovey-dovey frogs.”

While it was all in good fun, this playful interaction between the mascots definitely gave everyone a good laugh and proved once again that the internet loves a perfectly timed misunderstanding.
