It’s not every day that a roadside billboard becomes the talk of the town — but when it features oddly specific (and painfully relatable) search queries, you know Malaysians are going to have thoughts.
Over the past week, Malaysians have been scratching their heads (and snickering) over those mysterious billboards featuring hilarious lines like “what does cat food taste like” and “why body itchy after thrifting” and more.

From roadside LOLs to group chat debates, the whole nation was trying to figure out the same thing — who was behind it?
M’sian Influencer Also Caught On…
M’sian influencer wasn’t about to let the mystery slide. He posted a reel reacting to the billboards and their unhinged (yet weirdly relatable) search queries.
So, Who Did It?
In a twist no one expected, Samsung swooped in and owned up. In their cheeky reveal post on Instagram, they confirmed they were the ones behind the viral billboards all along.
Samsung dropped the caption ‘It was us’ — and just like that, all our burning questions were answered.
