TNG Digital Sdn. Bhd. (“TNG Digital”) urges all non-verified TNG eWallet users to complete their account verification promptly to enhance their account security and enjoy additional protection.
Users who have already verified their accounts are not required to take any further action.

In a statement, TNG eWallet said that it currently has over 28 million registered users, with more than 22 million having already completed their account verification.
The eKYC account verification plays a vital role in creating a secure and trusted digital ecosystem by reducing risks such as fraud, unauthorised access, as well as mule accounts.”
“To protect the majority of our verified users, it is important for all remaining non-verified users to complete their verification,” it wrote.
Verified users not only benefit from enhanced security but also gain access to benefits, such as the Money-Back Guarantee coverage, along with full access to all eWallet features.
Features may be restricted starting from 20 Dec
Starting on 20 December, all new users registering for a TNG eWallet account will be required to complete account verification.
Non-verified users will receive a pop-up message prompting them to verify their accounts and will be unable to proceed until the process is completed.

Over time, access to certain eWallet features will be gradually restricted, and accounts that remain unverified after a few months will eventually be locked.
All remaining eWallet balances will remain secure and can be refunded upon request.
How to complete eKYC for TNG eWallet
Users can verify their account by uploading a photo of their ID card, such as a MyKad or MyTentera, and taking a selfie for facial recognition.
