Lady Gaga has announced Singapore as the only stop in Asia, sparking huge excitement among fans.
The overwhelming demand has led to intense competition during the presale, with some fans even fighting for tickets.
Meanwhile, scalpers have already started reselling tickets at jaw-dropping prices, with listings reaching as high as RM100,000 (30,000SGD).
Resale prices skyrocket
The tickets for Lady Gaga’s concerts went on sale at 10 a.m. on March 18 as part of the Mastercard presale, drawing an overwhelming response with more than 1.2 million people in the queue.
As expected, demand for the pop icon’s tickets skyrocketed, with eager fans rushing to secure their seats. However, within hours of the presale, scalpers began listing tickets for resale at exorbitant prices.
A quick search on online marketplaces such as Carousell and Xiaohongshu revealed that resale tickets were being offered at inflated prices, ranging from the high hundreds to at least RM4,200 (1200SGD).
According to Mothership, a screenshot emerged showing VIP tickets purportedly being listed for an eye-watering RM100,000. However, this listing appears to have since been removed.
