In a scene that could be straight out of a Disney movie, TikTok user @syafiqaziz79 captured an elderly man’s hilariously impressive ability to summon a flock of pigeons like a real-life bird whisperer.
Recorded from Syafiq’s car, the video in Penang has taken the internet by storm, leaving viewers both amazed and amused.
Penang uncle with un-bird-lievable pigeon summoning skills
The video kicks off with a friendly uncle surrounded by pigeons, looking like he just stepped out of a bird lover’s dream.
With a confident air, he declares, “I’ll call them all to come.”
And then, as if he’s auditioning for the next bird-themed superhero movie, he makes a sound eerily similar to a honk, catching the attention of the feathery crowd.
But wait, there’s more! Out comes a bird-calling whistle, and with a few expert blows, the uncle orchestrates a pigeon parade.
“Okay, everyone come here,” he commands.
Within moments, pigeons from all directions fly in like they’re responding to a VIP invitation. They land on his head and hands, turning him into a human perch.
With his right hand free, the uncle sweetly calls out, “Okay baby, come here,” to a pigeon on the ground.
As if understanding English perfectly, the bird obliges, landing gracefully on his hand. Meanwhile, other pigeons continue their seed-snacking party around him, clearly provided from his magical pouch of pigeon treats.
Syafiq and his car companions were so impressed they couldn’t help but clap for the uncle.
The video ends with the uncle proudly stating, “Already trained them,” as if it’s the most natural thing in the world to have pigeons on speed dial.
‘The video went viral due to the uncle and my nephew’s Upin & Ipin-like voice’
Speaking to WeirdKaya, Syafiq told us that the incident took place at Padang Kota, Penang. He shared how he met the uncle:
“I wanted to go eat Mee Sotong Hameed. When I was about to park, I saw the uncle walking with birds, so I decided to record it. He noticed I was recording and called the other birds over.
And I just wanted to enjoy the show because my nephew likes watching him play with the birds. I didn’t expect the video to go viral, not only because of the uncle, but also because my nephew’s voice sounds like Upin & Ipin. A lot of people say that my nephew’s voice sounds like Upin & Ipin.”
He is Uchiha Itachi
The internet, never one to miss out on a good laugh, quickly filled the comments section with witty observations.
One user pointed out the secret to the uncle’s success: “He’s smart, guys, he brought corn.”
Another quipped, “The real Uchiha Itachi,” comparing the uncle to the famed anime character known for his avian control.
