KENINGAU – A Tiktok video of a petite girl struggling to carry palm fruits in an oil palm plantation has attracted the attention of countless netizens. So far, it has garnered 30k likes and 2400 comments on Tiktok.
This beautiful girl in the video named Ryecheal Saddy, hailing from Keningau, Sabah.
After completing her flight attendance management course, she could not find a job due to the pandemic, so she returned to her hometown to help her father in his oil palm plantation while waiting for better job opportunities.

Ryecheal has been helping in her father’s oil palm plantation since she was a kid. Carrying palm fruits is a common task to this Keningau lady even though it looks difficult in the eyes of the netizens.
Ryecheal believes there are many more diligent women who work in plantations or gardens.
“Even though this kind of heavy work is definitely not an ideal job for women, there are still many women out there who works in the gardens to make end’s meet.”
