KUALA LUMPUR – Pasir Salak MP Tajuddin Abdul Rahman is reportedly planning to take legal action against those who have “tarnished his reputation” over the collision involving two Light Rail Transit (LRT) trains on May 24, reported Bernama.
“I was humiliated. People started bashing me, calling me a racist and unconcerned over the welfare of the victims.”
“I’ll tell you one day, I will find out who these people are…their time will come”, said Tajuddin at a press conference at his service centre in Chenderong Balai, Pasir Salak.
“I was also accused of not following standard operating procedures (SOPs) and not being sensitive towards the victims.”
Tajuddin also demanded netizens to show him proof that he was indifferent about the incident.
“Please look at the video again (the press conference) and prove that I was insensitive.”
Tajuddin also defended his “train kissing” statement, claiming that it was taken out of context.
As for the controversial “no wonder lah” remark he made towards a mainland Chinese reporter, he explained that he was merely commenting on her accent.
When asked about his removal as Prasarana Malaysia Berhad’s non-executive chairman, Tajuddin shrugged it off and said he would not take revenge as he believed the truth would be revealed over time.
