Myvi may have been the reigning champ of Malaysian roads, but it looks like there’s a new king in town — and it’s floating.
A video showing a blue Perodua Bezza calmly gliding through floodwaters in Johor recently went viral, leaving Malaysians in awe (and in stitches).
While other cars were completely stuck, the Bezza seemed unbothered by the rising water, cruising ahead like it was built for it.
In the viral video, the person recording can be heard cheering the Bezza on like it was a national athlete, shouting with excitement as the car successfully makes it across the flood.
Many point out that even in a flood, the Bezza was still obediently waiting for the traffic light to turn green.
“Yeah it made it through, but once it gets home, the car won’t be able to start 😆”
Some warned that driving through deep water is still a dangerous gamble because you will never know if the road underneath has been damaged or swept away.
Still, it was hard not to cheer a little as the blue Bezza floated through the chaos and made it safely across.
