A man was left in shock after discovering a frozen snake inside the ice cream he had purchased.
According to him, when he unwrapped the packaging, he initially thought the black object on top of the ice cream was a black bean.
However, upon closer inspection, he was startled to realize that it was not a black bean but a small snake with black and yellow markings.
Black bean ice cream or snake?
According to Thai News Agency, the man quickly informed the vendor, who then placed the ice cream in a bag to send it to the manufacturer for investigation.
The man from Ratchaburi, Thailand, shared an image of the ice cream on social media with the caption:
“A cute-eyed snake, are you dead yet? Black bean ice cream from a roadside stall. This is a real picture, a real situation. I bought this ice cream myself.”

Upon further inspection, the snake was identified as a “Indochinese green snake”, a species known for its ability to climb trees and ‘glide’ through the air, making it a unique reptile.
It is non-venomous and can be found in several countries, including India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Thailand, and Vietnam.
