Looks like one feisty feline has caught the attention of the law — and it’s not getting off the hook so easily.
A post has gone viral recently — a cat being “arrested” for repeatedly attacking officers.

According to the OP’s Facebook post, the mischievous feline was officially charged with “attempting to assault an officer.”
While it’s clear the incident was meant in jest, the post was detailed as though it were a real investigation. And yes, the cat even had its mugshot taken.

To follow through with the “procedure”, the officer had the cat’s paw prints recorded — replacing the usual fingerprinting process.
The cat’s profile was also documented, just like any regular suspect.
A urine test was conducted too, checking for traces of catnip, a substance often associated with hyperactive feline behaviour.
Results came back clean — no sign of any substance abuse. This cat was simply acting on instinct.
Out on bail, but not off the record
The officer later stated that the cat was released on bail, but warned that “legal action must be taken to set an example, so other cats don’t follow in its paw-steps.”
While the statement was tongue-in-cheek, it served as a funny reminder of how far this little prank had gone.
To wrap things up, the cat’s guardian arrived at the station and brought it home for some rehabilitation — or at least, a stern talking-to and extra treats.

Although no real laws were broken, the Facebook post has amused many online. In Thailand, Section 136 of the Criminal Code does state that using violence against officials is a punishable offence.
While this cat clearly won’t be facing actual charges, the creative spin by the officer turned a small moment into a widely shared story.
