According to a video shared on the IG page “Kupikupifm Sabah,” a teacher assigned to SK Longkogungan in Penampang, took 4 hours and 5 minutes to reach the school, trekking through challenging terrain to report for duty.

In a video shared on the platform, the teacher is seen navigating the mountain terrain with a child guiding the way to reach the school.

His journey spanned 4 hours and 5 minutes, during which he navigated through thick forest trails and ascended steep mountain paths.

Crossing river and bridges

Along the route, he crossed narrow, swaying suspension bridges that linked different sections of the trail, with the child guiding him casually walking ahead despite the height above the rivers and ravines below.

They also waded through knee-deep and rushing rivers, where he even discovered a large brown leech clinging to his shoe.

As they finally arrived at the school, the duo took a photo to commemorate the moment upon reaching their destination.
