Former Muar MP Syed Saddiq stole the spotlight after turning up in full Superman costume at a birthday party hosted by local singer-actress Bella Astillah for her children.
The clip has since garnered 1.3 million views at the time of writing and netizens couldn’t help but to express surprise over his unexpected appearance.
Syed Saddiq turns up in Superman costume
In a TikTok video, guests at the party were seen donning superhero outfits and vibrant luau-inspired costumes in line with the Superheroes and ‘Lilo & Stitch’ theme.
The party, which was held over the weekend, was a joint celebration for two of Bella’s children, with her son Ayden turning eight and her daughter Ara turning five this year.
Syed Saddiq later made an appearance by turning up in a full Superman costume, while while Bella’s son Ayden dressed up as Iron Man.
He also posed for multiple photos with Bella’s children and their guests.
As for Bella and her daughter, they both wore luau-inspired dresses as they danced and took photos with guests.

The adorable scene quickly went viral, with netizens gushing over Syed Saddiq’s efforts in celebrating the birthday of Bella’s kids.
