A Malaysian cat named Cinta recently went viral for throwing what can only be described as a full-blown tantrum after her owner took too long to serve dinner.
“Nope, still angry.”
In the now-viral clip, Cinta can be seen sulking in a corner, avoiding eye contact and turning her head away dramatically whenever her owner tries to console her.
To make things even more hilarious, she meows in protest every time her owner tries to sweet-talk her, almost as if she’s saying, “No, I’m still angry!”
According to the owner, who spoke exclusively to WeirdKaya, this isn’t new behavior.
Cinta is very manja and easily gets upset. In that video, I was late in filling her food bowl for dinner, so she went to hide and refused to come out.”
Even when her husband tried to carry the cat, Cinta continued sulking and buried her face in his arms to avoid everyone.
Not the first time
This isn’t the first time Cinta has shown off her dramatic flair.
She sulks whenever we come home late or if we leave her alone for too long. She’s very expressive like that.”
In a follow-up video, Cinta eventually forgave her humans after some coaxing and affection.
According to the OP, Cinta, who got her name because of the heart-shaped fur pattern on her chest, has been with the family for six years since she was adopted at four months old.
She’s the heaviest among our four cats — she weighs 6kg!”
Whether it’s dinner served a little late or being left alone too long, Cinta proves that cats don’t just feel emotions, they express them loud and clear.
