It was the staff who told us to get down. They were stationed along the way to ensure everyone’s safety.

We weren’t unwilling — it was better to get out and breathe fresh air because it was too stuffy inside,” he told WeirdKaya.

Passengers later boarded another train, which departed about 10 minutes later towards Kwasa Damansara.

To minimise impact, alternative shuttle services were activated:

  1. Trains from Kwasa Damansara terminated at Muzium Negara before turning back.
  2. A shuttle train ran between Muzium Negara and Cochrane.
  3. Trains from Cochrane terminated at Kajang before turning back.

Rapid Rail added that engineering teams were deployed immediately and normal operations resumed at 1.56pm.

Police officers and station staff were also stationed at platforms and concourses to assist passengers during the disruption.

The operator also apologised for the disruption, assuring that close monitoring will continue to ensure service stability.
