Every now and then, there will be news of innocent animals getting abused by cruel individuals who have little regard for their wellbeing.
In yet another case of animal abuse, a stray dog was found with 20 BB gun bullets lodged inside its body by a non-governmental organization (NGO), who are calling for witnesses to provide information on the incident.

The dog’s plight was highlighted by pet rescue group KC Valley, who received an emergency call on June 30 about a dog that was severely injured and sent a team to Kampung Bukit Changgang, Banting to bring the dog to the vet.
Unfortunately, a X-ray revealed that the dog had been shot more than 20 times with a BB gun and the bullets were still stuck inside its body, causing the wounds to fester.
“This poor boy was found at death’s door due to the malicious cruelty of humans,” the NGO wrote in a Facebook post, adding that a police report has been lodged over the matter.
KC Valley also urged those have information on the culprits responsible for the dog’s injuries to step forward and contact them .
As for the dog’s condition, KC Valley said that it was very weak and will stay under the vet’s care and remove the plastic bullets.
The NGO is also calling for public donations to fund the dog’s RM9,000 veterinary bill, which includes removal procedure, deworming, neutering, and the pet taxi they took to transport it to the vet.
Stray dog escapes from vet’s office
Unfortunately, the stray dog, who was named Changgang Boy, has escaped from the vet’s office located in SS15, Petaling Jaya, according to the latest update by KC Valley.
Dear animal lovers, please help find Changgang Boy. This dog is injured badly due to being shot by BB gun. We are all concerned about his safety and health,” wrote the animal rescue group.
The NGO added that they have been searching for Changgang Boy since July 9 but have yet to find him so far.
