A 29-year-old Singaporean man went missing after going for a morning run near his in-law’s home in Kajang.
Went out for jog and never returned
The man, identified as He Wenhui (transliterated from Mandarin) had just tied the knot last week and was preparing to return to Singapore with his wife the day he disappeared.

According to Sin Chew Daily, he left his in-laws’ home around 5am on Saturday, 5th July for a jog.
At 5.02am, He Wenhui sent a video message to his wife saying he would return in ten minutes but all contact was lost after 5.17 am.
Surveillance footage showed him walking alone outside, and video records confirmed he was taking selfies and photos of the park surroundings.
Frequently visited in-law’s home
He Wenhui, a financial manager in Singapore, had apparently visited his in-laws’ home many times prior to the wedding.
He was known to take his father-in-law’s dog for morning walks, but on the day of his disappearance, he went out alone.

He’s family, who had returned to Singapore after attending his wedding, rushed back to Malaysia immediately upon hearing the news.
His parents, siblings, and relatives are now in Kajang assisting with the search.
In-law family assisting with police search
Mr. Wu, He Wenhui’s father-in-law, said the wedding was held at Bandar Sungai Long and the family had gone to rest in SS2, PJ after the ceremony.
Mr. Wu had driven his sister and her family to Malacca yesterday (July 6th), but rushed back to Sungai Long when he heard about He’s disappearance.
Mr. Wu revealed that neighbours helped in searching the area, but no trace of He Wenhui was found and have reported the case to the Sungai Long police.
Authorities also searched the park but came up empty-handed.
Mr. Wu is now urging the public to report to the nearest police station if they come across any information about his missing son-in-law.
