When it comes to fetishes, this man in Singapore absolutely takes the cake.
This comes after Singaporean media reported that he secretly cut a portion of a woman’s hair to satiate his sexual urges while taking the bus.
S’porean man cuts off woman’s ponytail on bus ride
According to a report by The Straits Times (ST), 26-year-old Edwin Chow Rui Xiong was taking the bus in Dover on Aug 3 when he saw a woman with a ponytail boarding the bus.
After experiencing a spike in his sexual urges upon seeing her long hair, he quietly changed positions and sat behind her before snipping off her ponytail with a pair of scissors and keeping it inside a small plastic bag so that he could sniff it afterwards.

The woman later realised her ponytail’s absence when she went to touch it. When she turned around and confronted Chow, he kept his silence.
Police were later called to the scene after the woman reported what had happened to the bus driver.
Gets “sexually aroused” by long hair
Upon his arrest on the same day, Chow admitted that he was attracted to females with long hair and would satisfy his sexual urges by cutting their hair and smelling it.
He pleaded guilty to a charge of using criminal force with the intent to outrage modesty and being armed with instruments for cutting on Sept 11.
Two other charges which alleged he also cut the hair of two other victims on two different buses on Aug 2 were also taken into consideration.

In mitigation, Chow was asked whether he had anything to say and he replied with: “Nothing” with a smile on his face.
When asked for a second time by the judge, Chow requested for a lenient sentence, saying he had an appointment at the Institute of Mental Health (IMH) the following week.
He was eventually sentenced to two months and two weeks in jail.
Court records showed this wasn’t Chow’s first run-in with the law, where he previously served 21 months’ probation in 2020 for theft and assault.
