Discovery and shock

The tenant discovered the hidden cameras in April 2021 after noticing a suspicious hole under the air conditioning duct in her room.

Upon further investigation, she found it was a camera and immediately reported it to her boyfriend and cousin, who then alerted the police.

Poon had been entering the tenant’s room under the guise of performing household chores such as changing lightbulbs or cleaning, which initially made her uncomfortable but she eventually accepted as acts of kindness.

The police found four videos and 224 images on Poon’s computer, with 49 of them being voyeuristic, showing the tenant changing and showering.

Poon was sentenced to 10 months in jail after pleading guilty to voyeurism and possessing voyeuristic images.
