Trying to save money is usually seen as a responsible thing.
But for one woman, her boyfriend’s idea of “saving money” ended up costing him their relationship.
In a confession FB post, the woman shared how she discovered that her boyfriend of 6.5 years had booked a trip to Malaysia with two female colleagues and planned to share the same hotel room with them.
What made it worse, she said, was not just the arrangement itself, but the fact that he had lied about the trip from the beginning.
According to her, the man initially told her that the trip was a company-related one. At the time, she did not think much of it.
He even casually asked if she had any plans during the same period, which she said felt normal then.
However, things started to feel off when he became increasingly secretive and began spending more time with the two women.
This included going to the gym and eating meals together, despite often telling his girlfriend that he was too tired to meet her.
Her suspicions eventually led her to check his phone, where she found out that the trip was not just with colleagues, but specifically with two female colleagues, and that they would be sharing one room.

When confronted, the boyfriend allegedly said he did not know how to tell her, claiming he was afraid of her reaction.
He also explained that the shared room was meant to save money, as the two women wanted a bigger room and would be sleeping on separate beds.
For the woman, however, the issue was no longer about money, but trust.
