Three days have passed since a woman tragically fell into a sinkhole on Jalan Masjid India in Kuala Lumpur, and as the search efforts continue, a Singaporean waste management firm has stepped up to offer its expertise—for free.
Jetters Incz Pte Ltd, the company, announced its readiness to contribute after learning that the search team is using flushing methods to locate the victim, according to Malay Mail.
“As specialists in this field, we’re prepared to offer our voluntary support to the ongoing rescue operations,” the company stated, emphasizing that their team is well-equipped with advanced technology and the expertise needed to navigate complex drainage systems—resources they believe could be crucial in this situation.
Jetters Incz Pte Ltd added that their services would be provided pro bono.
The incident occurred last Friday at around 8:22 a.m. when 48-year-old Vijayaletchumy, a tourist from India, fell into a sinkhole that suddenly opened up in front of Malayan Mansion on Jalan Masjid India.
