Family bonding time often leads to unforgettable memories, and one family’s recent outing to Xpark Port Dickson in Negeri Sembilan provided just that – but with an amusing twist.
While go-karting is usually all about speed and competition, this family’s adventure took a charmingly unexpected turn thanks to the adorable antics of their mother.
M’sian mum takes her time and enjoys go-kart ride
The spotlight wasn’t on the fast-paced racing but on the delightful behaviour of the mother, who turned a competitive activity into a lighthearted joyride.

When @t1pit0 shared a TikTok video of their go-kart adventure, viewers were in for a treat. The video kicks off with the family members tearing up the track in their go-karts, showcasing some serious need for speed.

But the real star of the show? The mum, who decided to take the road less traveled – at a much slower pace.
Instead of racing, she seemed to be on a scenic Sunday drive, moving her go-kart at a pace that could best be described as “turtle power.”
The original poster added the playful ‘paddle pop’ ice cream song to the clip, perfectly capturing the mood. As her kids zoomed ahead, the mum enjoyed a casual cruise, clearly in no rush to finish first.

The most endearing moment came when she passed by the videographer, waving cheerfully as if she were on a leisurely afternoon drive rather than a high-speed race.
Speaking to WeirdKaya, @t1pit0 also known as Qistina shared , “Just so you know, that was my mum driving the go-kart slowly. The other three are my family members. We were at Xpark PD.
The reason she drove so slowly is that it was her first time, and that’s exactly how she drives on the road too, which is why I kept telling her, ‘Mum, speed up, speed up!’”
The comments section was filled with amusement and affection for the slow and steady mom.

One commenter joked, “Already pressed the speed, make it faster lol.”

Another quipped, “That ‘mum waving when seeing her child at the school gate’ is sooo cute.”

And someone else chimed in, “Better late than never.”
