Accidents happen every now and then, but it’s often where one would find themselves tumbling headfirst into a drain and stay trapped there.
Unfortunately, this was what exactly happened to a man in Singapore, who fell into a drain and had his limbs sticking right out from it while his head was lodged inside the drain.

According to Mothership, the unusual incident took place on Thursday (June 20) near Block 115 Eunos Avenue 3 at around 3:15pm.
While photos of the 37-year-old man first went viral on WhatsApp, a reader sent Mothership another photo which showed the unfortunate position the man found himself in.
As seen from the photo, the man’s upper body and part of his lower body were trapped in the drain while his legs stuck out.

In a statement to Mothership, the Singapore Police Force (SPF) said they and the Singapore Civil Defence Force were made aware of the incident, where it is believed the man had skidded and fell from his Power-Assisted Bicycle (PAB).
However, his PAB appeared to have survived the fall without any significant damages.

The man was later sent to the Changi General Hospital for treatment while in a conscious state.
Police are currently investigating the accident.
We’re glad to see that the man didn’t suffer severe injuries from the fall and we wish him a speedy recovery!
