Angry that he had to line up again at a crowded acai establishment, a Singaporean man lost his cool and let out a string of racial slurs and obscenities at a female cashier.
For his inability to keep his temper in check, he was eventually fined and sentenced to jail.
SG man curses cashier who told him to line up again
According to a report by CNA, the accused, 27-year-old Rishi David Ramesh Nandwani visited a Project Acai outlet in Holland Village on Oct 31 to order black coffee.

While there, he was under the impression that he was joining the right queue, when in reality he was actually at the wrong end of the queue. As such, he was told by the cashier to go back to the line when he tried to place his order.
Unhappy over being made to line up again, Rishi descended into a two-minute rant which saw him calling the cashier various slurs and insults such as “f***ing dumb b***h”, “ch*nk”, and “idiot”.
Aside from that, he also said that he was “sick of this country”, claiming that it had “become like China” and that “Singapore was full of effing ch*nks”.
Throughout the meltdown, Rishi held the queue up and refused to rejoin it at the back.

Threw tip box and trays at cashier
Following the tirade, the cashier stepped away from the counter and turned her back on Rishi in order to allow her supervisor to speak to him.
However, Rishi continued to yell at her and picked up a tip box on the counter and hurled it towards her, hitting her lower back.
He then returned to his seat and simmered inwardly for several minutes before returning to the counter again to throw two serving trays at the cashier before he stormed out of the cafe. Thankfully, none of it landed on her.

An hour later, Rishi was arrested after the cashier lodged a police report concerning a “raging” customer.
Jailed 4 weeks, fined RM13K
In court on Monday (Dec 30), Rishi pleaded guilty to one charge of using insulting words and one charge of a rash act that endangered the victim’s safety.
Two other similar charges were also taken into consideration for his sentencing.
Rishi, who was unrepresented, admitted his wrong before the judge, saying that it was done “in the heat of the moment”.
He was eventually jailed for four weeks and fined S$4,000 (approx. RM13,000).
