A TikTok video showing a Bezza driver standing up against queue-cutting on a Johor highway has won the hearts of many Malaysians.
The video captured a Singapore-registered Mazda attempting to bypass a traffic jam by using the emergency lane, only to be stopped by a local driver who refused to let the bad behaviour slide.
Singaporean car tries to cheat traffic
Getting stuck in a traffic jam is frustrating, but that doesn’t give anyone the right to misuse the emergency lane.
In the video, the Mazda was seen speeding past a long line of cars, clearly trying to beat the jam. It managed to overtake one local car, but didn’t get far.
Right after passing one car, the Mazda found its path blocked by a Perodua Bezza.
The Bezza driver calmly shifted to the side, cutting off the emergency lane and forcing the Mazda to slow down and rejoin the proper queue.
The move left no room for negotiation. The Singaporean driver had no choice but to fall back in line like everyone else.

Malaysian netizens applaud the move
Many netizens flooded the comments with praise for the Bezza driver, calling the moment satisfying and much needed.
One user commented that the Bezza driver did what most Malaysians wished they could do.
Another wrote that this was how you teach people to respect local road rules.
