For those born and raised in Serdang, did you know your city is one of the happiest in the global rankings?
Two Malaysian cities, Serdang and Kuala Lumpur, have made it to the bronze tier in HAPPY CITY INDEX by Institute for Quality of Life.

The Institute for Quality of Life’s newest report doesn’t crown a single city as the best. Instead, it assesses cities based on their future potential, factoring in education, inclusive policies, economy, mobility, environmental protection, green spaces, and innovation. These aspects are crucial for residents’ quality of life.
In this comprehensive study, 250 cities were evaluated and divided into gold, silver, and bronze categories.
While 37 cities bagged the gold, 63 secured silver, and 150, including Serdang and Kuala Lumpur, earned bronze.
Serdang is ranked at 166, while the capital city, Kuala Lumpur, stands at 188.

This recognition highlights the need for continued efforts to improve living standards and sustainability in these urban areas.
