A young boy’s complaint about his school’s broken restroom reached the ears of the prime minister, and within just two days, the issue was resolved.
It all began on Mar 14 when Anwar Ibrahim was visiting the Kamunting Ramadan Bazaar, where a schoolboy approached him to personally report that the restroom at his school was in disrepair.

Immediately contacted education minister
In response, Anwar assured the child that he would immediately contact Education Minister Fadhlina Sidek regarding the matter.
Just two days later (Mar 16), Anwar’s political secretary, Mohamad Kamil, shared an update on Facebook, which included a video confirming that the toilet had been fully repaired.

I have received an update regarding the direct complaint made to the Prime Minister about the damaged restroom at Sekolah Kebangsaan Long Jaafar. The repair work has been fully completed,” he wrote.
He further emphasised that the prime minister consistently reminds members of the Unity Government to stay engaged with the people so that urgent issues can be promptly addressed.
