Fan shares emotional message after her win
Later that night, around 11 pm, Fan Bingbing posted on Facebook a heartfelt message reflecting on her experience filming in Kedah, Malaysia.

She said she stared at the photo of the four Golden Horse trophies sent by director Chong Keat Aun for a long time, as memories from the filming resurfaced.
The crew was professional, disciplined, yet full of warmth. The creative space was quiet and respectful,” she wrote.

Fan praised Chong Keat Aun for his calm and patient directing style, saying he never raised his voice or rushed the team.
She also called him a deeply knowledgeable film critic who discussed Chinese cinema with passion, referencing titles like A Touch of Zen and The Blue Kite.
He holds a sincere and respectful heart for filmmaking. His dedication earned my full trust and admiration,” she added.

Despite challenging conditions during filming, Fan said the Malaysian crew always worked with bright smiles and dedication.
She credited them for bringing Mother Bhumi to life and making the world notice the persistence of Chinese-language filmmakers.
